Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Effective October 11, 2026 · Version 2026-10-11
1. Why this policy exists
Some state laws, including Washington’s My Health My Data Act, Nevada’s SB 370 and Connecticut’s data privacy law, protect “consumer health data” broadly. Jantr doesn’t ask for health information and our terms prohibit businesses from storing health records, but the fact that you booked a particular service, such as a prenatal or therapeutic massage, could be considered health data under these laws. This policy supplements our Privacy Policy.
2. Health data we may collect
- The names and descriptions of services you book, which may suggest a health condition or status.
- Anything you choose to write in booking notes (we ask you not to include health information).
- Your appointment address, if it could reveal an attempt to receive a health-related service.
3. Sources and purposes
We collect this information from you when you book, and from the business when its staff create or update a booking. We use it only to provide the booking service you requested: scheduling the appointment, calculating its price, telling you and the business about it, and keeping a record of it for the business.
5. Your rights
You can confirm whether we collect or share your consumer health data, get a copy of it, see a list of the third parties we’ve shared it with, have it deleted, and withdraw your consent. Email contact@jantr.com. We’ll respond within 45 days. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision; if you’re unhappy with the outcome of your appeal, you can contact your state attorney general.
