Booking Terms

Effective October 11, 2026 · Version 2026-10-11

The short version

  • Your appointment is with the business you book. Jantr provides the booking software.
  • You see the full price, including any travel fee, before you confirm.
  • The business's cancellation policy applies. Use the link in your confirmation email to change or cancel.
  • Bookings for someone under 18 must be made by a parent or guardian.
  • Please don't include health information in your booking.

This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.

1. Who you're booking with

When you book through a business’s Jantr booking page, your agreement for the appointment is with that business, not with jantr, who operates Jantr. The business is responsible for the service, the people who provide it, their qualifications and insurance, and any refunds. Jantr provides the booking software. These terms cover your use of that software.

2. Prices and travel fees

Before you confirm, you’ll see the service price and any travel fee for an appointment at your address. Travel fees are set by the business and calculated from estimated drive times and distances. The total shown when you confirm is the price the business has agreed to; payment arrangements are between you and the business.

3. Your details

  • Give accurate contact details and an accurate appointment address, including any room or unit number and access instructions the provider needs.
  • We confirm your email address with a one-time code so that only you can manage your bookings.
  • Please don't enter health or medical information in notes. Discuss anything health-related directly with the business.

4. Changes and cancellations

You can reschedule or cancel using the link in your confirmation email, within the business’s cancellation window shown when you book. Outside that window, contact the business directly. The business may also change or cancel your booking; you’ll be notified by email.

5. Minors

You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to book. A parent or guardian must book appointments for a minor and is responsible for the booking.

6. Using the booking page responsibly

Don’t make false bookings, impersonate anyone, or misuse the booking page or another person’s booking link. Jantr must never be used to request sexual services. If you’re concerned about a business, report it to us.

7. Privacy

The business you book with controls the information you give it. Jantr stores and processes it on the business’s behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Our responsibility

We work to keep Jantr available and accurate, but the booking software is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, jantr isn’t responsible for the services a business provides, for anything that happens during an appointment, or for disputes between you and a business. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.

9. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, except where the consumer protection laws of the place you live give you rights that apply instead. Questions: contact@jantr.com, or jantr, 123 abc street.
